May be the only honest mechanic I’ve ever come across. They’ll send you pictures as proof, give you a ring and try to fix before giving up and putting new pieces in. Plus a free loaner car while my vehicle was in. All around pleasant experience.

Needed a Virginia State Inspection completed as I had never done one before (I moved from California recently). Looked up locations near me and came across Advanced Auto Tech. Swung by and spoke with Jon and made an appointment for the next day. Brought my vehicle by, and even though my vehicle did not pass because of after-market work I had done to it, Jon was super helpful, honest, straightforward, and professional in explaining what I had to do to pass inspection. I did as Jon advised, brought my vehicle back the SAME DAY and they were able to squeeze me in and pass the vehicle. I couldn't be more impressed with the professionalism and courtesy I received from Advanced Auto Tech. I think people get a little hesitant when they go to any repair shop, worried that they will get the "you need this, and this, and this completed, and it will cost _____." Not the case with Advanced Auto Tech. I will absolutely be returning and will tell all my friends/family to go there for all their vehicle needs!

I made an appointment when they opened at 8am for a state inspection and Emissions test. I arrived early at 7:45 and noticed an employee placing a "open" sign outside so I decided to go in at 7:50 to hopefully get a jump on my appointment and they were glad to take me early, I stated that I had all 4 tires reading low and thought and may be the tire pressure sensors or the freezing weather, they ended up completing my inspection, emissions and checked all fout tires and had me out of there in less than an hour. They filled all four tires as they didn't see an issue with the tire pressure sensors. Great place overall and the waiting room was nice with coffee, pretzels, TV and a restroom.
